Laser engraving produces a clean, single-tone mark by removing the tag’s surface finish. Keep these tips in mind when designing:
- Vector files engrave sharpest: SVG, AI, or EPS files produce the cleanest results. High-resolution PNG and PDF work well too.
- Keep it simple: Bold logos, clean text, and high-contrast designs look best. Fine gradients and photo-realistic images don’t translate well to engraving.
- Preview before you commit: Use the live design tool to check placement and sizing. Double-check spelling on names, phone numbers, and URLs.
- Avoid: Full-color artwork, very thin lines, and extremely small text — these may not engrave cleanly on aluminum.
